No nostalgic conversation about Mad Balls, Garbage Pail Kids, or Slime is complete without bringing up Boglins, the creepy and gross rubber hand puppets from the ’80s. We only had a few years in the late 80s to buy these in stores, but they stayed in our hearts for decades. Thanks to a super successful KickStarter campaign, they have come back, and in full force. The original 3 large Boglins you remember are now available as the King Boglins. You can buy them right now from many fine retailers, including Toynk.com. But starting in May you can pre-order the Glow-in- the-dark Dark Lord Boglins, aka the Halloween inspired Boglins (featuring a skull-face, jack-o-lantern, and a clown).

These 2021 Boglins hit all the right notes, reminding you of what you loved about the originals. The box art, the crate you can operate your Boglin through, the lifting gate. But they’re new and improved! They’re made of a new material (TPR) that’s a bit more stretchy and expressive, and will last forever. I can’t stop playing with mine.
