Captain Action Ultraman Package Goes Retro

Original Style Packaging for “Long Lost” Collectible...

Captain Action Enterprises, LLC reveals MEDICOM TOY CORPORATION’s packaging for the long-lost Ultraman outfit.

The innovative packaging is retro-styled and very evocative of the original sixties line of Captain Action superhero costume sets Action. For collectors, this new Ultraman outfit will display well either in the package or out of the package, on the Captain Action figure.

As previously revealed, the Ultraman set was originally planned to be a part of the popular super-hero line of costume sets used in conjunction with the iconic 12” (30 cm) Captain Action figure. An image of this outfit was shown only once in Shonen (a comic magazine) in the 1960s and was designed to be a contest prize for the readers.

“Two of my favorite heroes - Captain Action and Ultraman - finally together the way it was meant to be. Both new and classic collectors and fans will find something to love in this international collaboration,” said toy and licensing expert Michael Polis, Founder of Atomic Toybox.

This new Ultraman outfit is part of the many 50th Anniversary plans scheduled for the Captain Action line throughout the year.

Limited shipping and sales within Japan are planned for June 2016.
