In Space No One Can Hear You Scream...
NECA’s Alien/Aliens display at New York Toy Fair 2015 held some figures that fans of the films are simply dying to get. The biggest and most eye-catching was of course the 1979 Xenomorph in the Quarter Scale... and yes, at 22 inches tall that’s not a 2-Up but ACTUAL SIZE! This monster features a new sculpt and will be arriving to terrorize your loved ones this summer.
Moving to the Aliens lineup, this summer also brings the long-awaited Power Loader Deluxe Vehicle, perfect for going up against your Queen Alien. The master craftsmen are still working on the Loader, cramming as much cool stuff into it as possible, and they may even be able to work in lights without having to increase your cost. Ripley is sold separately, but you’ll be able to get her as an individual figure in Series 5 due out at the same time. Also in that wave will be Bishop post-Queen attack, not half the android he used to be and covered in white goo. Bishop will come with an open egg as well as a face-hugger. If you want more eggs you’re in luck because NECA will be releasing a six pack of eggs (around $25) in Weland-Yutani branded egg carton packaging with three closed eggs, three open eggs, and three face-huggers!
Also on display were the figures of Series 4 due out in April (Dallas, Ripley, Ripley in suit), as well as the repainted Dog Alien from the Alien3 video game coming in June.
