Action figure legend Marty Abrams was on hand at Toy Fair, personally speaking with the press about the revival of his company Mego Corporation. Famous for their many licensed 8-inch clothed action figures back in the 70’s, the Mego today showed off a wealth of properties – new and old – ranging from TV shows like Star Trek, Happy Days, and Married With Children, rockers KISS, Elvis and Jimmy Hendrix, to horror classics, such as Nosferatu, Freddy Krueger and the Universal Monsters. massive 14-inch jumbo figures starred DC’s many famous superheroes.
In addition to his action figures in classic 8-inch and jumbo sized 14-inches, Marty Abrams also showed off a new line of licensed super balls called Heads Up! Each collectible ball features the face of a popular character and will include a suction cup base stand for display. Licenses included TMNT, South Park, Marvel, SpongeBob, and more!
