Everything old is new again. Eaglemoss proves that old adage with their newest collection based on Kenner’s awesome retro ALIEN action figures. Originally launched in the early ’90s, the vintage series saw action figures of the Alien xenomorph combined with various animal and insect DNA. The results were unique creatures (with not so unique names) such as the Bull Alien and Mantis Alien. These were fun, creative collectibles still treasured by many Alien figure collectors today.
Eaglemoss’ ALIEN Retro figurines will see release as 2-packs, because nothing is as satisfying as receiving TWO cool collectibles at once. Packaged in a closed window box, each set will be priced at $59.95. Solicitations are currently underway through Diamond, with the first 2-pack – Snake and Mantis Aliens – to launch this December.
The second set will pair the Bull and Gorilla Aliens, while half of the the thrid set was shown at NYCC: the Panther Alien.
