McFarlane Toys expands their collection of video game action figures to take on a new title launching April 13th, 2018: We Happy Few. Developed by Compulsion Games and published by Gearbox Publishing for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, We Happy Few takes place in an alternate mid-60’s in the fictional English city of Wellington Wells. In a nutshell, the population is controlled by a hallucinogenic drug known as “Joy” which makes everyone overly happy. You play a “Downer,” someone who has stopped using the drug and must survive and escape the city. Aesthetically, the game reminds me of Bioshock: Infinite  meets Dishonored  nothing but a good thing.

McFarlane’s first figure from the game is “Bobby”.

Patrolling the streets of Wellington Wells, Bobby is always dressed in his constable outfit topped off with his distinct “Happy Face.” Always on the look out for potential “downers,” residents of Wellington Wells should always have some “joy” at the ready when they see Bobby nearby.

The figure features 12+ points of articulation and comes with alternate gas mask head, empty beverage bottle, Billy Club, and alternate hands. Look for him in stores in March 2018 priced at a MSRP of $19.99.
