McFarlane Toys will be producing action figures based on the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. The news comes as numerous retailers , including BigBadToyStore, have opened up pre-orders for the first two figures in the line: Chief Hopper and Eleven. Images of the figures have not been released yet.
Hopper is to include a hat, pistol, and coffee mug, while Eleven will come with a blonde wig, radio and her favorite food, an Eggo waffle. Both 7-inch scale figures are to feature 12 points of articulation and include a branded “Stranger Things” display base.
The Stranger ThingsĀ figures are priced at $17.99 each and are scheduled to ship this November.
Stranger Things Season 2 airs this Halloween, October 31, 2017.

Mcfarlane is a strange. Its almost as if he is trying to put himself out of business. No one is going to buy these; I could understand the Demogorgon but two standard humans? Pfff..

I agree, the Demogorgon would have been a much stronger choice for a realistic action figure. I’d buy that. Otherwise, if you’re gonna do the human characters, I can only see them as ReAction-style figures where the focus is on the packaging and 80s-style aesthetic (which would be a great fit with the show, IMO).
