For collectors that “gotta catch them all,” UCC Distributing has the Pokemon for you! Teaming with Tomy USA, UCC has released an exclusive four character assortment of Pokemon Plush. These include Abra, Growlithe, Mew, and my favortie, Magikarp; each plush priced at a MSRP of $19.99.

As my many past reviews have shown, UCC Distributing is best known for their awesome assortments of blind boxed mini figures. What’s great about these exclusive Pokemon plush is that you know exactly what you’re getting! Each plush measures approximately 8 inches and feature very high quality plush construction with embroidered details.

You’ll find them in Hot Topic, Game Stop, Target, FYE, and Books-A-Million in an open display box (see top photo) or possibly hanging from a peg, each begging for you to take them home. Once in your collection, there’s a plastic hang tag to snip off, as well as a character tag that you can choose to leave on or off. Growlithe, a Fire Pokemon, approves of his dashing canine likeness!

I’m far from a Pokemon expert, but even I know my basic characters. Mew is a well-known Psychic-type Mythical Pokemon, first appearing way back in Pokémon Red and Green.

On the other hand, I wasn’t too familiar with Abra. According to his Pokedex, Abra is another Psychic-type Pokemon that resembles a gold fox (I got that part from looking at him). For those curious to why his eyes are closed, Abra evidently likes to sleep a lot. A perfect Pokemon to snuggle with!

Magikarp is just what his name implies: a Fish Pokemon. I found a few of these guys residing in bodies of water in my short time playing the augmented reality phenomenon, Pokemon Go. I like Magikarp just because he is soooo different from most Pokemon. I mean he’s a cute gold fish, what’s not to love?

There’s no denying the cute and collectible nature of plush toys. Kids are absolutely going to adore these new Pokemon plush, and adult collectors that prefer their collectibles soft and huggable will find these a must-have. Gotta catch them all!
