Back in March we gave you an advanced look at Eaglemoss’ new Alien & Predator Official Figurine Collection (read our review HERE). The 1:16 scale series stars approximately 5-7-inch tall resin figurines spanning all the Alien and Predator movie franchises. The biomechanical xenomorph from ALIEN launched the collection, now several figures deep, and soon Eaglemoss will return to H.R. Giger’s classic creature with a stunning super-sized statue.
The “Mega” Xenomorph is the start of a sub-series meant to highlight and compliment the smaller Alien & Predator Collection, similar to what Eaglemoss is doing with Star Trek and their “Oversized” ships. These are large standalone statues, with no subscription necessary. Alien fans can get their hands on the Mega Scale Xenomorph statue directly from Eaglemoss HERE. Available for delivery by June 1st, the piece is priced at $149.95- an incredible value for a statue this size.
I’ve had the distinct honor of seeing the Mega Xenomorph on display behind glass at past trade shows, however even that didn’t prepare me for how large this statue is in person. 12.5 inches is the listed height, but with the base it comes attached to, the statue clocks in at a full 14 inches tall. This is also a wide statue, with a base 8-9 inches in diameter. The combined measurements describe a statue that demands attention on display.
The Mega Xenomorph ships safe and secure in a large Styrofoam clamshell container housed in a HUGE display box proclaiming it as a “Hero Collector Mega Special”. Packed inside with your statue is a certificate of authenticity along with an Eaglemoss tradition: a bonus mini mag that provides some information on the xenomorph, the movie it came from, as well as a plug for the Alien & Predator Official Figurine Collection.
The Mega Xeno doesn’t have a limited production run listed anywhere, an oddity for a resin release, but that’s nothing but a good thing for fans wanting to buy one. I’m guessing that the production run was left unsaid so that if the statue proved popular, more could be made without collectors complaining. Who knows. I’ve never understood the whole “limited release” mentality except to drive up price and demand, two words that spell doom and gloom to unlucky collectors that discover a statue too late.
The second thing that surprised me about the Mega Xenomorph is that it comes fully assembled right out the box. There’s no need to plug it onto the base as it comes pre-attached. There’s a lot of gratification in removing a collectible from its packaging and immediately being able to place it on a shelf. No muss, no fuss.
The third thing that impressed me was the Alien statue’s awesome sculpt. I originally thought that this was just a blown up version of the smaller Alien & Predator Collection Xenomorph. However, when I took that piece out for side-by-side photography I was shocked to discover that the Mega Xeno is in an entirely new pose! Where the small Alien stands erect with its arms outstretched and tail swung back in the air, the Mega Xenomorph stands slightly hunched over with its arms at its sides and barbed tail curling up from below. It’s a really cool and dynamic stance – a classic Alien pose.
Dynamic sculpt aside, a simple but effective paint job sells the piece. Matte black is the creature’s primary color, the perfect backdrop for its steely teeth and nails. The use of silver continues on the metal floor grating – the floor of the spaceship Nostromo. Here Alien fans will find some cool story elements, including a pile of the Xenomorph’s molted skin and the hat of the first hapless crew member to encounter the full-grown monster: engineering tech Brett. The star of the show for me is the paint work done on the Alien’s head. While I would have loved a semi-translucent head dome revealing the Xeno’s human skull beneath, I’m really loving the subtle tiger stripe pattern on this statue. Done up in a gloss coat, the paint work on the Xeno’s iconic phallic-shaped head makes it really stand out, tying the entire piece together. To comprehend fake ids https://topfakeid.com in 2023. You should initially see genuine IDs. There are 56 purviews in the US that issue government driver licenses and non-driver ID cards – 50 states, Washington, DC, and the US domains. At some random time, every ward has various legitimate forms of ID available for use, bringing about many at present substantial variants of IDs in the US.
Large and in charge, Eaglemoss’ Mega Xenomorph makes an amazing centerpiece to any Alien collection. Lord knows I’m gonna have to rearrange my collection to spotlight this beauty, but that’s a small price to pay for owning such a stunning collectible.
The Mega Xeno arrives June 1st. Get yours HERE!

The lack of a (semi) transparent dome is a deal-breaker for me unfortunately. If action figures and that tiny £8 bust can manage it, this damn well should have too.
