Look what Jones the cat just dragged in! NECA surprises us on Alien Day by providing us an early look at their just announced 7″ scale Kenner Tribute Vasquez action figure! In-stock and available exclusively at thenecastore.com priced at $24.99, Vasquez follows in the footsteps of last year’s Kenner Tribute Ripley with a look and color scheme that reflects her action figure from the ’90s.
Vasquez comes with a knife, sheath and pulse rifle accessories. The blister card packaging is an homage to the classic as well. For collectors like myself that grew-up with the Alien Kenner series, this is a great figure. However, what I found amusing – and it’s no fault of NECA – is the weapon role reversal between the Kenner Tribute Vasquez and Ripley. As everyone knows, Vasquez was the baddass Smartgunner. Anywho, if you own both figures, now you can remedy the situation!
