Gecco made their first New York Comic Con appearance with a stunning selection of statues and model kits.

Front and center was Gecco’s series of 1/16th scale zombie model kits, Tales from the Apocalypse. Series 1, available to order now (read our review HERE), includes three characters that set the tone for the undead story:  The Heroine, the Truck Driver and the Traffic Guard. Arriving this winter will be the second assortment (see our story HERE). Set in a diner, this wave includes The Cook, The Biker and The Waitress. New on display at NYCC was wave 3, “Day 1 4:42 pm at a shopping mall”. This assortment marks the return of our Heroine, now armed and ready to fight the zombie menace, The Street Gang, and The Officer.

Also shown were detailed environmental dioramas. Gecco is looking to release these next year. These would not only make great bases for Gecco’s Tales from the Apocalypse model kits, but for action figures in general.
