    Creatureplica Series One Pre-Orders

    Cryptid Invasion Hits Before Christmas...

Across the frozen wastes of the northern most reaches of the globe, through the primeval forests and valleys, lurking in the darkest recesses of man’s forgotten histories, the creatures of nightmare and legend are shambling out of the shadows to reclaim a world that has forgotten the true meaning of fear...

Creatureplica, the toy world’s newest purveyor of original monster creations, is full bore into their Series One pre-orders. As production revs into high gear they’ve released packaged pics of the Himalayan Yeti, North American Sasquatch, Louisiana RuGarou, and HorrorHound, and teased a wave of variants to follow Series One throughout 2016.

Creatureplica is an amalgam of creative and professional expertise headed by toy industry veteran sculptor/designer Jean St. Jean, in association with creative/financial collaborators, Jeff Beyers, Craig Deere, and Nick Epley. The project, spotlighting cryptozoological mysteries and folkloric beasts, has been in development for 3 years with a projected ship date of January 2016.

The figure line flies in the face of the current trend toward low detail “retro-style” mini figures, offering a highly detailed, realistic vision of iconic creatures with extensive articulation in a range of 7-9 inches tall. The figures will retail at $34.99, available though their website, creatureplica.com, and various online retailers including BigBadToyStore.com.

    Creatureplica Series One Includes:

North American Sasquatch: A mythical denizen of the arboreal forests of the Pacific Northwestern United States, the sasquatch figure is created from witness reports and Native American legend at 7 ½” high with 18 points of articulation, and a woodland environmental base

Himalayan Yeti: The legendary Dzu-Teh or Yeti, abominable Snowman of the peaks and frozen wastes of the Himalayas is depicted as in Tibetan myth and Sherpa sightings at 8 ¼” tall, with 19 points of articulation, and a frozen base of ice with a Himalayan tahr skull buried in the snow.

The HorrorHound: A hybrid were-creature, the product of Axis experiments on a US infantrymen who haunts the Twin Tunnels and Devil’s Backbone of Ohio, looms at 8 ¾” high with 23 points of articulation, and a graveyard base featuring his own tombstone.

The Louisiana RouGarou: A gigantic werewolf lurking in the swamps of Cajun country Louisiana, under a magical curse of lycanthropy, stands 8 ¾” high with 23 points of articulation, and a swamp base adorned with a skeletal trophy marking his territory.

    Creatureplica Series One Variants:

These low run exclusives will be available later in 2016, details to be revealed later!

Looms at 7 ½” high with 18 points of articulation, and a woodland environmental base.

The Silverback: The alpha male of a Sasquatch tribe. Rules his clan with an iron fist and drives any males away who challenge his dominance. He is Marked by his jet black fur streaked with silver/grey through his shoulders and back. 7 ½” high with 18 points of articulation, and a woodland environmental base.

The Ghost Wolf: Legendary white werewolf, spectral in it’s appearance with it’s stark white coat and glowing red eyes, known to haunt moors and lonely places seldom frequented by man. The HorrorHound Zombie Regeneration: A resurrected hybrid were-creature, the product of Axis experiments on a US infantrymen who haunts the Twin Tunnels and Devil’s Backbone of Ohio, looms at 8 ¾” high with 23 points of articulation, and a graveyard base featuring his own tombstone. Talking Re: Creatureplica Series One Pre-Orders

I placed my order for these a few months back and can not wait! I'm glad a new company is taking on creature figures with this kind of detail and look forward to new stuff they have coming down the line.
