    Entering its third year, DST's line of Universal Monsters action figures continues on strong with some new creature greats. Come September 2012 fans can look forward to Series 3. As with past waves, this series will be split between Toys"R"Us (standard series) and specialty stores ("Select" wave). For TRU look for Metaluna Mutant, Invisible Man, and the Phantom of the Opera with violin. The more deluxe "Select" assortment will pack Metaluna Mutant with Interociter and Phantom of the Opera with organ.

    Also in September, be on the hunt for new Universal Monsters Minimates. These include:

    * Wave 3 (Toys"R"Us) - Mummy/Sarcophagus, Quasimodo/Phoebus, Princess Anck Es En Amon/Henry Wipple, Mummy/Quasi B&W

    * Series 3 Hunchback of Notre Dame Box Set (Quasimodo, Esmerelda, Phoebus, King of Fools Quasimodo)

    * Series 3 The Mummy (Mummy, Sarcophagus, Princess Anck Es En Amon, Helen Grosvenor)

    Rounding out the September Universal Monster releases will be Retro Cloth Series 3 which stars the Bride and Creature from the Black Lagoon, as well as new Vinyl Bust Banks of Frankenstein and the Creature from the Black Lagoon.

    Looking ahead into 2013, DST showed us Universal Monsters Wave 4. This September figure assortment will feature:

    * Toys"R"Us - Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mole Person and Dr. Jekyll

    * "Select" - Hunchback with Gargoyle and Mr. Hyde with Rooftop

    These are beautiful and the figs shall all be mine! (no use for minimates though)

    I wonder if there will be headsculpt variants between the TRU and Specialty versions of the Phantom and the Hunchback like there was with Dracula last time...?

    I love when they do that because then it lets you choose which one you like (or both!)
