    Stormtrooper Super Shogun Blasts into the Past

    Wired magazine online has an exclusive look at some nifty nostalgic holiday postcards created by Super 7 for their Stormtrooper Super Shogun. For the retro postcards, photographer D. Martin Myatt, who also works at our affiliate site, asked fans to donate actual 70s and 80s photos of themselves holding Star Wars toys. (The names used on the cards are the names of people in the pictures.) With a little Photoshop magic, the Stormtrooper Super Shogun became a part of the memories. Check them all out HERE.

    What's neat, aside from seeing the Stormtrooper Super Shogun as if it was released in the glory days of Star Wars collectibles, is looking at all the nostalgic Star Wars toys. As a kid who grew up in the '70s I fondly recall owning quite a few pictured, including a few non-Star Wars items, like the generic sci-fi "Space Case" in the photo above.
