Hollywood Collectibles Group (HCG) continues to deliver life-size sculptures from the sci-fi movie Aliens, this time with a replica of the Facehugger.
The Facehugger represents the second stage in the life cycle of a Xenomorph. Its long tail allows it to rapidly launch itself long distances, and its finger-like legs allow it to run quickly and attach itself to the host.
Standing an impressive 28″ tall, the Facehugger is captured just as it is about to strike its hapless victim, bony “fingers” outstretched and tube like proboscis extended ready for insertion!
As with all Hollywood Collectibles pieces this Museum Quality piece is constructed from heavyweight polystone and mixed media and then hand painted to the finest detail. The Life-Size Facehugger is available as both a regular edition (limited to 500 pieces), as well as a HCG Exclusive Edition that includes an individually numbered 6’ x 3” metal plaque (limited to 150 pieces). Both editions are priced at $699.95 and scheduled to ship 4th Qtr 2017.
