GWAR, the satirical metal band which sadly lost their lead singer - Dave "Oderus Urungus" Brockie - in March, is finally receiving bonafide toy collectibles from Aggronautix. The maker of hard rock bobbleheads is offering a GWAR Throbblehead Set starring Oderus and Balsac "The Jaws of Death". GWAR's former lead singer and broadsword swinger stands an imposing 6.5" tall while Balsac, guitarist for GWAR, stands 7.5" tall from horn to hoof.
These are available for order now through aggronautix.com, the set priced at $49.95. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Dave Brockie Fund (gwar.net/dave-brockie-fund), a charity with the mission of promoting the advancement of music, images, letters and performances in the arts. It will endeavor to encourage promising talents, and preserve the legacy of Dave's works.
