Early on at Comic-Con this year we introduced our WizKids photo gallery, but there’s even more to talk about now that the show is over. In addition to all the great figures on display at the beginning (in both the NECA and Diamond booths), WizKids added to the HeroClix collection throughout the week to make each day a unique experience! Specifically, more and more Star Trek Tactics III ships appeared, and the Wolverine and the X-Men Shi’ar Team Base (pictured above) slowly filled to completion by Sunday. But that’s not all. We’ve got a special exclusive look at one special item from the display case!

One of the coolest and most exciting things in the WizKids display was the massive Borg Cube from the upcoming Tactics III set. Perched on a 2x2 colossal base, the Cube seemed larger than life, and thoughts ran rampant as to how it would be packaged and distributed. We got official word that the ship would indeed come in a standard Tactics booster, but seeing is truly believing and we got the exclusive look!

So it’s true, the Borg Cube does indeed fit perfectly within the standard box, and will come mixed in with the rest of the Tactics III ships. Of course, it may be easier to feel in the package than other ones...

Keep your eyes on Figures.com for lots of upcoming HeroClix news and exclusive reviews, with some big announcements coming soon. With really exciting stuff on the way 2013 and 2014 are going to be big years for this game, and we’ll be right there to show you all of the great figures!
