Blast Off With Cool Replica Spacecraft...

At Figures.com we’re always looking for great spaceship toys and collectibles, and one of the best series out there right now is Dark Horse’s Mass Effect collection. The Normandy has been the spotlight thus far with three different ship replica versions: standard, Cerberus, and Comic-Con exclusive metal. New for this year are two small scale ships, the first being the sleek SX-3 Alliance Fighter due out in about a month ($29.99)! Then in the summer we’ll see a new Alliance Normandy SR-1 ($34.99). Both ships come mounted on a cool new Alliance logo base, and may appear as future SDCC exclusives in metallic colors. We got more great news that Dark Horse is looking to continue this line with even more ships!

Now, if those small scale ship replicas aren’t enough for you, have you checked out Dark Horse’s Reaper? Already sold out at the distributor level and limited to only 1000 pieces, this vessel stands 18 ½ inches tall on a cool diorama base and should release early this summer. Joining the Reaper in a larger scale of collectible is a new 18 inch Alliance Normandy SR-2 that floats over a rocky asteroid-like base. This polyresin replica has tremendous detail and intricate paint apps, well worth the sticker price of $299.99. Look for it in August, and perhaps a Cerberus version sometime in the future.
