Go Nagai's twisted visions in figure form...

In the early 2000s, Japanese toy company Fewture had a pretty solid run with several series of Devilman action figures. Based on Go Nagai's popular anime/ manga creations (and later live-action films), this line saw some really twisted characters released, including today's Card Back, Welvath. Part of the "More Than Demon" assortment, Welvath included multiple heads and arms that opened up to reveal gaping jaws. I picked this figure up rather cheap on the secondary market, but some of the rarer variants (and there were many) can fetch a pretty penny.

Yeah that Welvath certainly was freaky wasn't she? (I love figs like that!)

Fewture's Devilman line definitely gets my vote for fave Japanese fig line of all time (followed closely by Moby Dick's Biohazard aka Resident Evil)
