[HR][/HR]In breaking news, Sideshow Collectibles announces that they have signed with DC Entertainment to create a signature line of premium statues, busts and other collectibles inspired by DC Comics' stable of superheroes and villains.

The new alliance paves the way for Sideshow Collectibles to offer products featuring DC Comics' most revered superheroes and villains including Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, as well as items inspired by the upcoming theatrical releases The Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel. In addition to premium statues and busts, Sideshow Collectibles will produce limited edition art prints and high-end 1:6 scale articulated figures.

This is awesome news!! Now we can finally get some comic-inspired 1/6 DC figures. I wonder if Hot Toys will develop the heroic bodies for SS.

Yes, I was expecting some 1/6 The Dark Knight Rises figures,
But not LIMITED-EDITION!!!

Don't get too excited yet. Sideshow hasn't even confirmed that they will be making 1:6 Dark Knight Rises figures. They just mention that they have the rights to do so, if they so desire. Obviously, Sideshow mentioning Dark Knight Rises means they have SOMETHING planned. But that could be busts or statues, which the deal also includes.
