Diamond Select Toys adds to their growing Marvel Select line with Captain America: The First Avenger. Based on the likeness of actor Chris Evans from the upcoming summer 2011 film, this movie-accurate Captain America figure includes Marvel Select's standard 16 points of articulation and stands approximately 7 inches tall. As an added bonus, the figure comes packaged with part of a display stand that can be combined with the base from the Red Skull movie figure (sold separately) to form a diorama, recreating a key scene from the movie.

These are scheduled to arrive this August.

I've settled down on Cap's look and while I wish the red was incorporated better, I'm getting used to it. Either way, both of the figures look great and I can't wait to snag em both. Hasbro is either dropping the ball on 6" movie figures or planning something huge for the 2012 Legends re-launch and the Avengers movie, but I'm glad Marvel Select is picking up that slack and making some really great-looking figures
