Cool action figures of Mad Max and post-apocalyptic company...

N2 Toys was very ambitious in pursuing cool cult classic movie licenses. For every deal that never panned out, such as The Fifth Element and Taxi Driver, a successful deal went through, including The Matrix and today's Card Back, The Road Warrior. While a tad overstylized (think of the pumped up Power of the Force line), owning an action figure of Mel Gibson as Mad Max was a dream come true for many fans, including this die-hard. Many figures in this two wave assortment are very easy and cheap to obtain now on the secondary market, such as the forgettable Gyro Captain and Warrior Woman, while others, like Humungus and Series 2's Bad Cop, can fetch a pretty penny. I managed to hunt down Max with his dog and Wez for around $10 each.

With a new movie on the way - Fury Road (see our story HERE) - the timing for more Mad Max figures is now...
