McFarlane had a number of new Halo items on display at Toy Fair. Recently announced Halo Micro Ops had its own corner of the showroom floor, the impressive diorama showcasing numerous sets in the series including a cool Scorpion Tank, Wraith, Warthog, and the massive (for this scale) High Ground Gate. Fans looking to recreate epic battles from the game are going to really love these faithful, in-scale reproductions. Read more about Micro Ops HERE.
The new Halo Avatar series was previewed as well, the stylized Xbox characters impressing us with their unique look and great stasis tube packaging. Read more about this line HERE.
Last but not least was a nice sneak peek at the upcoming 6-inch Halo Universe action figures (see our story HERE). "The Package" Master Chief, Frozen Master Chief with Cryotube and ODST Drop Pod were instant showstoppers, the latter one of the coolest new vehicles to come along in some time.
To not spoil anything in the new game, no Halo 4 action figures were shown, though we were given a sneak peek at the packaging. Mock-up packaging was on display for a number of other Halo collectibles too, including Universe, Micro Ops and all-new Halo 4 Deluxe figures - these including a Hunter and Master Chief.
