Sideshow takes on greatly overlooked 2010 sci-fi horror film...
Sideshow has made a surprising Spooktacular announcement revealing that they will be producing a collectible from 2010's sci-fi horror film SPLICE. While one of my favorite movies of that year, Splice wasn't exactly a runaway hit - generally forgotten by fans in the wake of blockbusters Iron Man 2, Toy Story 3 and Inception. Still, it's good to see Sideshow take on the underdog and get some unique collectibles produced. As good overlooked films go, Splice is sure to become a cult classic.

I admit I was REALLY taken aback by the announcement, but I do love the film. Those two wormy things at the beginning would be cool as collectibles, but I'm sure it will be a statue of the female "splice" creature (forgot her name).
