For several years Square Enix has been producing the most detailed and highly articulated action figures based on their popular video games such as Final Fantasy and several other in-house game titles. Their Play Arts Kai action figure line has truly revolutionized the action figure with their amazingly-sculpted details and extensively versatile articulation system. Their latest action figure releases include Assasin's Creed, HALO and Metal Gear and next year, Square will be bringing out the big guns with figures based on the most succesful comic-based video game to date, Batman: Arkham Asylum.
On display in their booth at this year's Comic-Con were two amazing prototypes of Batman and the Joker from the hit 2009 video game. This dynamic duo of hero and arch enemy will be seeing release next year as part of the Play Arts Kai series and will feature tons of articulation and several amazing accessories. With the release of the Arkham City just around the corner in October, gamers and bat-fans alike will be dying to get theri hands on these incredible acion figures. Asked what future Batman video game characters we may see in the series, and Square replied that Harley Quinn would be a good contender.
