Independence Day Pop Vinyl Figures

Funko Taps Classic Sci-Fi Film...

Funko has revealed a new wave of Pop vinyl figures based on the 1996 sci-fi movie Independence Day. This three figure wave is due out in February and includes Will Smith's character Steve Hiller, Jeff Goldblum as David Levinson and a tentacled Alien threat. Not pictured is a chase figure of the Alien, perhaps in a different color? Opened head revealing the pilot?

While not confirmed, I'm guessing Funko is kicking off with the classic film in preparation for the fun looking sequel Independence Day: Resurgence, in theaters June 24. And since we're hoping for more ID4 Pop, I'd also love to see a Pop Ride with Alien and spaceship see release. Make it so Funko!
