Over 60 New Photos Of The Missile-Firing Mech...
NECA's latest assortment of 7-inch scale Pacific Rim action figures has been released. This all-Jaeger starring wave includes a new battle-damaged Reactor Blast Gipsy Danger, along with a figure I've been waiting a long time for: the Horizon Brave. Shown on an assembly line in the opening prologue of the movie, the Mark-1 series Horizon Brave is among the first Jaegers constructed.
While it's wiki describes the mech as being "armed with shoulder-mounted cryo cannons used to freeze Kaiju in battle," NECA thought outside of the box and made the weapons actual firing missile launchers. Just press the exhaust port button on each side to launch away!
Articulation is also solid on this Jaeger, the Horizon Brave featuring a boxy head that rotates up and down, ball-jointed shoulders, hinged elbows, swivel wrists, an incredible ball-jointed waist for all sorts of poaseability, slight ball thighs, ratchet-style knees and ball-jointed feet.
I love my Cherno Alpha, but the Horizon Brave is a close contender for my favorite Jaeger - and NECA Pacific Rim action figure. It reminds me a lot of Poseidon, an old Shogun Warrior action figure I grew up with as a kid (see below). NECA's Pacific Rim Series 6 is hitting retail now, each figure priced at a SRP of $19.99.
