Specialty Store and TRU Assortments...

In 1976, the Muppet Show debuted on network television, and kicked off an entertainment phenomenon. From television to movies to books to magazines to comic books, the Muppets have been a part of our lives for 40 years, and Diamond Select Toys is honored to play a part in capturing the lovable Muppets characters in three dimensions. Now, fans can expand their Muppet collections even more with the newest assortment of Muppets Minimates, on sale starting this week at comic shops, specialty stores and Toys”R”Us!

Series 2 of Muppets Minimates spotlights even more characters from across the Muppets’ long timeline. Available at comic shops and specialty stores, this exclusive assortment includes (pictured above):
  • Trenchcoat Kermit with Rowlf
  • Dr. Teeth with Animal
  • Statler & Waldorf
  • Crazy Harry with Mahna Mahna

Meanwhile, at Toys”R”Us stores, a different assortment is rolling out, with its own exclusive Pigs in Space characters (pictured below):
  • Tuxedo Kermit with Animal
  • Dr. Teeth with Rowlf
  • Capt. Link Hogthrob with Swine Trek Crew Member
  • First Mate Piggy with Dr. Julius Strangepork

Each Minimates mini-figure features up to 14 points of articulation, as well as fully interchangeable parts, and is available in a blister-carded two-pack.

Series 1 is available now in both comic shops and Toys”R”Us, and Series 3 will be solicited soon, with even more new characters including Floyd, Janice, Zoot, Lips, Muppet Newsman, Pepe and Constantine! Stay tuned for images!
