Animated Batwing, Batman Beyond, More!...



Ahead of Toy Fair, USA Today provides a first look at numerous new action figures (and vehicles!) from DC Collectibles. Highlights include:
  • Batman: The Animated Series 6-Inch Action Figures (September): Harley Quinn, Firefly, Harvey Bullock, Scarface, Talia al Ghul, Joker, Anti-Fire Suit Batman ($28 each) and an oversized Clayface ($40).
  • Batman: The Animated Series Batwing (October, $100)
  • The New Batman Adventures "Girl's Night Out" Figure Pack (September, $80): Poison Ivy, Batgirl. Supergirl, Harley Quinn and Livewire
  • The New Batman Adventures "Tales of the Dark Knight" Figure Pack (October, $70): Batman, Carrie Kelley Robin and Mutant Leader
  • Batman Beyond Figure 3-Pack (January '17, $50): Bruce Wayne, Batman and Ace the Bat-Hound
  • Holiday Joker (December, $45): with Santa hat, Christmas tree and candy canes.

Whew, gotta see more of that Batwing!

But I don't like the way that companies first issue the vehicles with no figs, then come back a few months later and offer them with figs for the same price.

I got shnookled on the animated Batmobile this way and still have my nose outta joint that I'll never have the cool Bat searchlight they're now throwing in plus a figure included.

And I ALMOST made the same mistake when getting Mattel's '66 Batmobile too.

So now I feel like I should wait and see what goodies they'll be throwing in with the Batwing a few months after it goes on sale too.
