Minimates, Wolverine, Silver Surfer, And More...

DST’s impressive Toy Fair exhibit included quite a few Marvel items that are sure to get fans excited in 2013. We’ve already taken a look at the Iron Man 3 offerings (see the full story HERE), but that was just the tip of the iceberg. The Marvel Select line continues this year with a new Wolverine figure from the upcoming film (no photography allowed), as well as a brand new Silver Surfer. DST is also bringing back some classic figures with the return of Ghost Rider and Green Goblin!

Marvel bottle openers are the next cool thing, with a wide variety of characters and logos. On display were Silver Surfer, Captain America’s shield, Galactus’ head, Ghost Rider’s head, Thor’s hammer Mjolnir, Deadpool, Punisher logo, and the Infinity Gauntlet! Expect more information on these very soon.

Then of course there are the minimates! Series 50 is the all-star wave with figures the fans voted to return (Baron Zemo, Nova, Onslaught, Ghost Rider, etc.), while 51 (Summer) focuses on the current Marvel Now comic characters with Superior Spider-Man, Nova, S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, and more. Toys R Us gets its own Series 16 (May) with the X-Men’s Wolverine, Phoenix 5 members and a sweet new Sauron (shared with the regular series). Later on we'll be seeing a Thor 2 series featuring Asgardians, Heimdall, Dark Elves, and even the ladies from the films!
