One of this year’s most anticipated films, especially for geeks like us, has to be Pacific Rim. What’s not to look forward to with Guillermo del Toro bringing us giant robots fighting kaiju? Now thanks to Toy Fair we have our first look at figures from the film by NECA. Three members of the 7 inch line were on hand: Crimson Typhoon, Gipsy Danger, and Striker Eureka. The first two will be in Series 1 (June), while Eureka will appear in Series 2 later in the year. In addition to these highly detailed robot figures there will be kaiju as well, but NECA was not permitted to show any prototypes at this time. Finally, Gipsy Danger will also be offered in a massive 18 inch (“Quarter Scale”) version with lights and action features!
