Truly a highlight every year is to take a stroll through the Sideshow Collectibles booth to see not only what’s new, but to get an early glimpse at all the many hot items that we’ve all pre-ordered in the past few months. While the San Diego Comic-Con has only just begun, there was still an amazing assortment of hot items to see, all which can be found in our photo gallery here.

Some highlights so far include the 1/6th scale Darth Malgus, a fan favorite Star Wars Expanded Universe character that is generating a lot of buzz online. A child can be overheard asking “Is that Darth Vader?” So while he’s still a relative unknown to the fans at large, he’s still a force to be reckoned with.

Sideshow has produced several 12” G.I.Joes and some of the more attractive pieces were announced: Major Bludd and The Baroness. The Baroness is truly impressive and probably what I consider their best translation from toy to cartoon back to toy so far.

One of the major announcements for Sideshow this week has been the debut of 12” DC Universe figures. On display were Superman, Batman, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and The Joker. No release dates as of yet but you can stay tuned to Sideshow Collectibles for all the latest.

There’s much, much more to see and still much, much more for Sideshow to reveal so stay with us at Figures.com!
