While not quite as cool as the designs seen in Front Mission (which also received figures from Koto, and more recently by Square Enix - Full Review HERE), the Armored Core mecha still hold their ground as fantastic looking future military vehicles. More streamlined than the Front Mission mechs, Armored Core units, or ACs, featured a variety of interchangable gear, from beam swords and firearms, to boosters and shields. Pictured is the very first Armored Core 2 action figure released by Kotobukiya, the ECM-XROO. Actually, it's not so much a mech name, but the description of a part: the torso, or core. Armored... Core. Catchy. For those into the game series (I've never played one), Armored Core V is on tap for release in 2012.
