Gearbox unveils a new image showcasing their ClapTrap action figure being produced and released by NECA later this year (pictured above). You almost have to do a double take as it looks almost like a screen capture from Borderlands.

As revealed in our exclusive first look/interview with ClapTrap (read the story HERE), the action figure will stand approximately 4 inches tall (not including antenna or base) and include a display base to pose him on. The figure will feature a wide range of articulation to recreate ClapTrap's in-game movement, including fully articulated arms, antenna, working shocks, and a wheel that can roll and pivot. His chest drawer even pulls in and out. NECA will also incorporate sound from the game - a variety of phrases between 10-20 seconds in length. An SRP of $13.99-$14.99 is expected with the figure targeted to ship this October.

That looks great! I understand the name, but at the same time, it's something that could be awful, or something from the MOTU line.
