Mattel Introduces Two New Superhero Lines To Retail...

Mattel's DC Universe Classics, once a dominating force in the action figure aisles, will continue on in a smaller capacity come 2013 with MattyCollector's exclusive Club Infinite Earths (see our recent story HERE). In DCUC's place on retailer shelves, Mattel will be introducing DC Unlimited, as well as a sub-series focused on Batman called Batman Unlimited.

DC UNLIMITED

SERIES 1

SERIES 2

DC Unlimited will focus on DC Comics' "New 52" and the all-new look of their classic superheroes. The line kicks off this November with Series 1 featuring Hawkman, The Flash and Superman - all sporting their new outfits. Come early 2013, Series 2 will introduce Wonder Woman and Injustice Batman.

Both DC Unlimited assortments are currently available for pre-order at BigbadToyStore.com.

BATMAN UNLIMITED

SERIES 1

SERIES 2

Because one can never have enough Batman, Batman Unlimited fills the void with various versions of the Caped Crusader, his allies and many foes. Series 1, slated for release this November, will consist of Batman (New 52 - Redeco), Batgirl (New 52), and Penguin. Early 2012 brings in Series 2 consisting of Batman - Dark Knight Returns and Planet X Batman with Batmite.

Both Batman Unlimited assortments are currently available for pre-order at BigbadToyStore.com.
