Oh Stan Winston, how we miss thee. A legend in the SFX field, Winston and his crew were responsible for some of the most iconic creatures put on screen. From James Cameron's drooling Alien Queen to Marvel's indestructible Iron Man. Stan Winston was also responsible for several awesome assortments of action figures that brought creativity back to the toy aisles. One of those amazing lines was Realm of the Claw, cool-looking savage animal warriors. Fully articulated, each beast man (and gal!) stunned with unique personality. Everyone had their favorite, mine being the prehistoric sabertooth tiger, "Sabyr". With wickedly rendered deluxe display bases and accessories, Realm of the Claw were action figures to die for. I highly recommend hunting them down on the secondary market.

i remember how folks use to complain about paying $15 for these figures...but they were SO worth it!

Great sculpts, good articulation, awesome bases, cool accessories...what's not to love?

And let's not forget the Mutant Earth and Extreme Gargoyles figures either! Both great too!

Too bad the Robot Revolt and Four Horsemen figures never got made though :( :(
