Fans of The Mummy movies have been clamoring for an action figure of Brendan Frasier as Rick O'Connell for quite awhile. An articulated collectible is still a dream, but Sideshow is delivering die-hard fans the next best thing: Rick O'Connell as a high-end Premium Format Figure.

Pre-orders for the Rick O'Connell Premium Format Figure will begin through the Sideshow Newsletter on Thursday, October 21st, which is typically published between 2PM and 3PM (Pacific Time).

The Exclusive Rick O'Connell Premium Format Figure, which includes a switch-out left arm holding weapons bag will be priced at $299.99. Additionally, a Regular Edition, without the switch-out accessory, will be priced at $299.99 and will be available for Pre-Order. Both versions of Rick O’Connell Premium Format Figure will be sold on a first come, first served basis, and will have the FLEXPay option available as a payment choice when placing your Pre-Order.

The Rick O'Connell Premium Format Figure may run fans more than an action figure, but as the first true Rick O'Connell collectible, it's a fantastic start and sure to be the centerpiece of many Mummy collections.

Wow, that face sculpt is horrible! Even if I was a Mummy fan (which I am not) there is no way I would plunk down cash for a statue that looks nothing like the actor....

Sideshow, just hurry up and release the damn Jason Pt. 3 PF already!
