Star Ace, which received recognition in the 1:6th scale collectible figure world last year with their amazing Harry Potter figures, surprised New York Comic Con attendees with a slew of new licenses. front and center was Selene as played by Kate Beckinsale in 2003's vampires versus werewolves film, Underworld. The figure packs tons of firepower with her trademark twin revolvers and a crossbow. Look for it next year.
Aother sure-to-be-popular figure on display was Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games.
The Harry Potter series continues to grow with loads of new 1:6 characters shown. These included a massive Rubeus Hagrid, Tri-Wizard Harry, and a lovely Party Version of Hermione Granger.
Some new licenses I was honored to look at, but not photograph, included the re-telling of Peter Pan, Pan, along with the Zack Snyder classic, 300.
