Several new Apes figures made their debut at this year's Comic-Con. Among the reveals, was series 2 of the Dawn of the Planet of the Apes assortment which will be Caesar's Son with machine gun, Gorilla with interchangeable heads and Angry Koba with machine gun. In addition to the Dawn figures, NECA also had packaged samples of the first assortment of the classic Planet of The Apes films and upcoming General Urses, Zira, Dr Zaius in long coat which will make up the second assortment of the classic line. A single figure from the third wave, Cornelius with gun was also on display alongside a beautiful film-accurate diorama.
NECA also plans to expand the POTA license into their 8" retro doll assortment and had an astronaut George Taylor (Charlton Heston) prototype figure on exhibit as well.
