When Mattel was awarded the DC Comics license in 2003, one of the first toy lines they released was BATMAN. These comic-style 6-inch figures were a pretty big hit with collectors; the fans excited to see something new being done with the license after Hasbro's long reign. The fact that the Four Horsemen sculpted the figures also didn't hurt, the two figures below - "Zipline" Batman and Mr. Freeze - being two of the most popular releases.
