A Look At The First Painted Samples...

NECA has posted a new photo showing off the first painted samples of Predators Series 7. The figure samples - directly from the factory overseas - are not final, but close.

Predators Series 7, scheduled for release November 2012, will include the Red Predator from the fan film "Dead End", City Hunter (masked, w/ extended spear) and a Falconer (mid-cloaked w/ falcon).

Great stuff!

Now that they've finished all the Preds I was thinking about what they should do next.

There are so many cool original Pred designs and ideas out there in the world of unlicensed garage kits. Of course they couldn't make these, but maybe they could do a few of their own original designs or some official Pred concepts that never got made, etc. (maybe starting with a female Pred?)

I know there are lots of people out there who would still buy MORE Pred figs.

Oh, just thought of one more Predator I still want them to do: unmasked Scar Predator.

Back in 2004 McFarlane was never able to actually release the unmasked version of this character (although they had made a beautiful proto). But as we know, NECA has been able to accomplish many things that McFarlane could not.

So, how about one more time...?
