Sideshow is turning their 1:6th scale action figure attention to some cool cult classic movies. One such entry is Snake Plissken as played by Kurt Russel in John Carpenter's near-future action film, Escape From New York. The cynical patch-wearing rebel has become a pop culture hero, Snake Plissken influencing many properties, including being the inspiration for Snake from the Metal Gear video game series.
The 1:6 Snake Plissken, scheduled for release this September priced at $159.99, is currently available for pre-order with only 90 figures left. It includes numerous film-accurate accessories, including his scoped revolver and SMG, cigarette, wrist timer and tracker, and homing device.
