    SDCC14: Square Enix DC Variants

The Play Arts DC Universe Continues To Grow In 2014...

There was an abundant amount of new reveals for DC fans at the Square Enix booth this year including several new additions to the DC Variants line and the debut of both a new Arkham Knight and Batman "through the ages" figure line. Among the figures on display were, a new DC Variants Joker, Harley, Darkseid an oversized heavily-armored version of Batman and an amazing Batman variant by artist Tetsuya Nomura which is a true thing of beauty.

Two new figures from the Arkham Knight video game were showcased at the event including and updated version of Robin and Batman in his updated suit from the upcoming video game. The final production prototypes for the Arkham Origins version of Joker, Batman and Deathstroke were also on display.

The new Batman Variants Timeless line will consist of various figures that depict how the Dark Knight would look through the ages. This dynamic and unique line will consist of Wild West, Steampunk, Spartan and Bushido versions of Batman and look incredible.
