    2015 Wizard World St Louis

The Comic Con Experience Comes to the Gateway To The West...

For the third year in a row, Wizard World has brought the Comic Con experience to the Gateway to the West - St Louis - with Wizard World St Louis, which ran this last weekend, Friday, May 22 through Sunday, May 24 and fans and collectors, young and old turned out in droves to enjoy a fun and exciting time at the America's Center in downtown St Louis.

Various celebrity guests were in attendance over the weekend, chatting with fans and signing autographs. Guests included Robin Lord Taylor (Gotham, The Walking Dead), Liam McIntyre (Spartacus: War of the Damned), Cassandra Peterson (Elvira, Mistress of the Dark) Alanna Masterson (The Walking Dead), Naomi Grossman (American Horror Story), Tara Reid (American Horror Story, Sharknado), Giancarlo Esposito (Once Upon a Time, Breaking Bad), B.J. Britt (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Rick Cosnett (The Flash), Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy), Jason Mewes (Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks), Phil LaMarr (Futurama, Family Guy) and Jason David Frank (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers).

As always, a variety of creative artists and writers were also on-site to chat with fans and create unique works of pop culture art, including Michael Golden (“Spider-Man,” “Daredevil”), Gerhard (“Cerebus”), Ethan Van Sciver (“Green Lantern,” “Batman: The Dark Knight”), Ken Lashley (“Superman,” “JLA”), C.S. Marks (“Elfhunter,” “Fire-heart”), Tom Cook (“He-man,” “Scooby Doo”), Jim Mahfood (“Miami Vice: Remix,” “Everybody Loves Tank Girl”), Renee Witterstaetter (“She Hulk,” “Avengers”) and a variety of others - including many from the St Louis area!

The show of course wouldn't be complete without a showroom full of retailers selling everything from comics, action figures and prop replicas to mini-drone helicopters, posters, prints, clothing and more. However, the most enjoyable part of the event may have been the hometown heroes who turned up in full cos-play to enjoy the attention and love!
