PHOTO REVIEW: Gecco 1:6 Bloodborne HUNTER PVC Statue - Puddle of Blood Exclusive

The Monster Slayer Returns With New Bloody Deco...

In addition to their 1:6th scale Bloodbourne Hunter PVC Statue, Gecco has released a "Puddle of Blood" exclusive. As the name implies, this version of our monster-slaying hero features some fantastic "blood" deco splattered liberally on the figure, as well as on the cobblestone base. It's a fitting addition given the violent nature of the game, and in my opinion, the better looking of the two Hunter statue releases. The crimson paint really adds a new layer of depth to the piece, further emphasizing the Hunter's deadly skills.

Aside from the slightly more gory detail, the Puddle of Blood exclusive is essentially the same statue I previously reviewed HERE. That's a good thing for those that already own the initial release. For those that don't, the Puddle of Blood exclusive is the way to go. Priced at $299.99 just like the standard release, it's really a no-brainer on what version to get. Alas, both versions have already sold out through geccodirect (that was fast!), so Bloodbourne fans will have to keep their eyes peeled on the secondary market.
