Quantum Mechanix is a favorite of Firefly/Serenity fans for its treatment of the show and movie’s great cast of characters as well as its iconic spaceship. Now they’re back with a brand new series of small scale statues shown for the first time at New York Toy Fair 2015: the Mini Masters! The Masters will include all 9 main characters from the show (only Book wasn’t on hand) in a new, cute style that looks fantastic. In fact, these prototype figures were made utilizing a cutting edge 3D printing technique that has detail so fine the output is perfectly smooth and ready for paint. Inara, Wash, Mal, River, Simon, Jayne, Kaylee, Zoe, and Book will start coming out this summer, each for about $30. Even better, Quantum is working on a possible subscription program for hardcore fans who want to lock in their purchases of the whole set. Stay tuned for further details as we get them.
