DVD REVIEW: Robot Chicken DC Comics Special II: Villains in Paradise

This Time the Villains Take Charge...

Robot Chicken is back on home entertainment store shelves with their second DC Comics Special, Robot Chicken DC Comics Special II: Villains in Paradise, following the success of their previous partnership. This time the focus is spent on the villains as Lex Luthor (Alfred Molina) brings his daughter Lena (Sarah Hyland) to work, inspiring the other villains to demand some well-deserved vacation time.

The all-star cast includes Seth Green as Batman and Robin, Zac Efron as Superboy, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, Alex Borstein as Wonder Woman, Clancy Brown as Gorilla Grodd, Giovanni Ribisi as the Joker, Tara Strong as Harley Quinn, Breckin Meyer as Superman, and many more. The DVD, released on October 14, has the suggested retail price of $14.98.

The 23 minute episode has a main storyline but follows the traditions of a typical Robot Chicken episode with some random bits thrown in, all DC Comics related! But if you think that a 23 minute DVD is too short, there’s 90 minutes of bonus features too!
