SDCC15: Epic Models The Glory Of A 1:6 Scale Snowspeeder... CLICK HERE TO SEE THE SNOWSPEEDER AND OTHER COOL ITEMS FROM EPIC MODELS AT SDCC 2015 You may not be famililar with Epic Models, but if all goes well you will be. A small booth tucked away at San Diego Comic-Con caught our eye with one of the coolest things in the exhibit hall: a custom-made 1/6th scale Star Wars Snowspeeder! The brainchild of Julien LeFebvre, the Snowspeeder is a proof of concept model built in 3D modeling and printed out (in parts). Epic is currently shopping the kit around to see if companies are interested in producing it; with the 3D creation it can be printed anywhere and built by hand. The Snowspeeder is still under construction with the creator finishing the rear panel before moving to the final detail: the cockpit. And since there is no official imagery of the Snowspeeder landing gear this model is designed to be mounted on a moveable display arm. In addition, Epic Models brought some previous projects including the Noobz vinyl figure for Blizzard, the Black Soul Stone from Diablo III, and an original Troll King Bust.
