Sold-Out BRASS SUN #1 To Be Reissued

    2000 AD's First US-Format Mini-Series Goes Back To Print...

Brass Sun #1, the debut issue of 2000 AD's first US-format mini-series (6 parts), is already going to reprint after orders from retailers on both sides of the Atlantic spiked on its day of release (28th May). 2000 AD's initial print run was 4,000 and these all went on the day the first issue came out. A limited 1,000-copy reprint run has been ordered, but stores will have to be quick to secure some from this as Diamond is already gobbling up big chunks of them.

Ian Edginton and INJ Culbard’s clockpunk series features incredible science fiction fantasy landscapes, a solar-system-spanning plot, and an engaging and fascinating young female protagonist reminiscent of Ursula K. Le Guin’s great works.

The Orrery is a clockwork solar system where planets whirl on vast metal arms and the sun of cogs is worshpped as a god. But the sun is dying, the planets are freezing one by one, and cults burn as heretics those who warn of the danger. To save her home, young Wren knows she must first escape it and find the key to restart the sun.
Brass Sun #2 releases on Wednesday, June 25th.
