    NYTF16: LEGO DC Comics

Caped Crusader Leads The Charge In 2016 Construction Sets...

LEGO’s New York Toy Fair event is always highly anticipated, and this time around the brick company showed off cool current and upcoming items from across its various lines. Out of the pages of DC Comics (and off the screens from its spinoffs) were several Batman vs. Superman-themed sets in stores now like Clash of the Heroes, Kryptonite Interception, and Heroes of Justice: Sky High Battle. March will bring an assortment of Mighty Micros, two packs featuring Batman vs. Catwoman, Robin vs. Bane, and The Flash vs. Captain Cold for the low price of $10 each. That month will also herald the release of the epic Batman Classic TV Series Batcave complete with the structure of the cave and the bat poles above it, vehicles, heroes, villains, and so much more. That mighty set will retail for $270.

This summer will bring a couple more DC Comics sets, both centered around Batman. The Scarecrow Harvest of Fear ($60) gives that supervillain a fear toxin-releasing vehicle and allies Killer Moth against Bruce Wayne and Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle. Finally the Killer Croc Sewer Smash set ($80) has a tank-like Bat vehicle, Killer Croc vehicle, Captain Boomerang, Katana with motorcycle, Red Hood, and more!
